We are looking for a passionate and spiritually grounded Worship Leader to join our ministry team. The Worship Leader will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading worship services that inspire and engage the congregation. This role requires a deep understanding of Christian worship, strong musical ability, and the capacity to lead both musicians and the congregation in meaningful worship experiences.
The ideal candidate will have experience in leading contemporary and/or traditional worship styles, be proficient in at least one musical instrument (preferably guitar or piano), and possess strong vocal skills. They should be comfortable working with a team of volunteers, including vocalists, instrumentalists, and audio/visual technicians. The Worship Leader will collaborate closely with the pastoral staff to ensure that worship services align with the church’s mission and message.
Key responsibilities include selecting appropriate worship songs, organizing rehearsals, mentoring team members, and ensuring a smooth flow of worship during services. The Worship Leader should also be able to incorporate scripture, prayer, and other creative elements into worship to enhance the spiritual experience. In addition to Sunday services, the Worship Leader may be involved in special events, holiday services, and other church functions.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. The Worship Leader must be a committed Christian with a heart for ministry and a desire to lead others into a deeper relationship with God through worship. They should be adaptable, open to feedback, and continually seeking to grow both spiritually and professionally.
